SEMA’s Industry Banquet Features New Look, New Format

In addition to the SEMA Launch Pad finale and announcements for key industry awards, the banquet will feature important news from the SEMA Chairman and SEMA President and CEO.

With an all-new format, evolved entertainment, and sizzle to reflect the industry’s current energy and engagement, this year’s SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet on Thursday, Nov. 3, is a must-attend event for all SEMA Showgoers. Attendees will witness the two final SEMA Launch Pad contestants competing for the grand prize on stage, naming of the first-ever SEMA Automotive Influencer of the Year, and important industry news from SEMA Chairman James Lawrence and SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola.

With about 3,000 industry professionals in attendance – including leaders, icons, and SEMA Hall of Fame members – the SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet is considered by many to be the industry’s ultimate gala. After three days of doing business on the SEMA Show floor and connecting with colleagues about new products and vehicles, the Thursday evening banquet is a time for the industry to socialize and celebrate the people and passion in the automotive specialty-equipment industry.

“Our industry has a lot to celebrate,” said SEMA Chairman James Lawrence. “We’re going to unveil something big during the SEMA Show Industry Awards Banquet that is more than two years in the making. I strongly encourage showgoers to join us on Thursday evening to hear the big news.”

Themed “Further. Faster. Together.,” this year’s banquet features a new immersive layout. With a cocktail reception hosted by Fifth Third Bank from 6-7 p.m., the banquet will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the Westgate Paradise Event Center. Guests will be able to vote for the winner of the SEMA Launch Pad Competition and be amongst the first to learn who the winners of the SEMA Person of the Year, Gen-III Innovator of the Year, and Automotive Influencer of the Year are.

Tickets are required for the event. Exhibitors can secure complimentary banquet tickets through their registration dashboard, while all Showgoers can purchase tickets at www.semashow.com/banquet.
