Masters of Motors Rules Announced

JE Pistons has announced the official rules for the 2020 AMSOIL Masters of Motors competition. Masters of Motors is set to take place at JE Pistons’ Mentor, OH headquarters September 28th through October 1st, 2020 and all applications are required to be submitted by April 1, 2020. The official competitor list will be announced on April 10th.

In addition to the rules, JE announced the current event purse stands at $72,500, and the goal is to continue to grow it. 

ATI Performance Becomes Award Ceremony Sponsor

JE also announced ATI Performance as the newest Masters of Motors banquet sponsor. They will be offering an additional $500 to both class winners if their engines are equipped with ATI dampers.

The ARP Early Iron class is designed for vintage engine enthusiasts and encourages innovation, ingenuity, and reinvigorate power into the iconic engine platforms that launched hot rodding.

Holley Performance Everyman’s LS Class

With the goal of encouraging innovation without breaking the bank, the Holley Performance Everyman’s LS class will be heavily focused on inspiring builders to push the factory LS architecture into the stratosphere.

To apply for 2020 AMSOIL Masters of Motors presented by JE Pistons click below. Due to limited dyno capacity only a select number of competitors will be chosen for competition and registration will close on April 1st. Selected competitors will be announced on April 10th.

More details have been revealed about the recent sale of NASCAR’s Auto Club Speedway—the 2-mile, low-banked D-shaped oval superspeedway near Fontana, California. It was previously reported that NASCAR had sold 433 acres of the 522-acre site. 

Now, officials are stating the famed track was purchased for an estimated $559 million by Hillwood Development, owned by real estate mogul Ross Perot Jr. He plans to build a 6.6 million sq. ft. logistics hub called “Speedway Commerce Center,” according to the published reports.
