MAHLE PowerPak Kits

These PowerPak kits from Mahle offer tried and true performance rings sets and piston for various applications.

MAHLE Motorsport is attending the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas this November and is rolling out 12 exciting new PowerPak applications that cover the gamut of performance, domestic and import, with a heavy emphasis on Cummins diesel. 

Two PowerPak Plus kits have been added to the company’s shelf stock program – Small Block Chevy 23⁰ Gasported/Asymmetrical Valve Pockets and an LS3 Flat Top Trans Am TA2 Homologation Gasported with incremental bore sizes available by special order. Both have 1.0, 1.0, 2.0mm file fit performance ring sets, and are available in an extreme duty 2618 alloy.  

Top Alcohol engine builders are now able to order MAHLE’s PowerPak high performance piston kit for a Top Alcohol Hemi that will come with a 1/16”, 1/16”, 3/16” performance ring set, and pistons forged in 2618 alloy. Joining the EcoBoost family is a 2.3L Ford EcoBoost PowerPak kit forged for extreme duty with a 4032 alloy. The new Volkswagen TSi EA888 Gen 3 PowerPak for the 2.0L Turbo is forged from M142P alloy and features a 1.2, 1.5, 2.0mm ring set.

For diesel engine builders there are now multiple choices to boost power in Cummins engines designed for speed, off-road or towing this spring. New for 2022, are seven kits for the Cummins 5.9L B-Series including new Forged Aluminum Race Pistons – 24V with 0.100” deep valve pockets and a range of cast performance pistons in M142P alloy for 12V or 24V; all with a good range of compression ratios to build to spec.
