ARCA, RE/MAX Extend Partnership

Officials from the ARCA racing sanctioning body and global real estate franchisor RE/MAX International have announced that RE/MAX will continue in its role as the exclusive title sponsor of ARCA’s premier racing series, the ARCA RE/MAX Series, through 2011.

“The ARCA RE/MAX Series title sponsorship is our company’s highest level marketing initiative,” said ARCA President Ron Drager. “Our goal at the onset of our relationship with RE/MAX was to enter into a long term agreement with a series sponsor which could help ARCA grow, and provide that sponsor with valuable marketing opportunities. ARCA and RE/MAX have worked together to identify measurable goals and deliver value in achieving them. Given RE/MAX’s international presence and strong industry position, their continuing commitment to our series elevates and carries the series forward.”

Celebrating its 56th year of operation in 2008, the 21-event ARCA RE/MAX Series race schedule takes the series to some of the nation’s most prestigious superspeedways. The series will expand to new markets in 2008 with races at the New Jersey Motorsports Park road course, Cayuga Speedway in Nelles Corner, Ontario and Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina. In addition, the series will compete at traditional short track venues and the mile dirt state fairgrounds tracks in Springfield and DuQuoin, IL.

“This extension is a direct result of the proven track record of the series title sponsorship, the high level of return on investment the sponsorship provides to RE/MAX, the excellent business relationship between ARCA, RE/MAX and SPEED, and the high level of confidence RE/MAX has developed with the entire ARCA organization,” said RE/MAX Vice President Randy Morse. “I’m proud to confirm that RE/MAX is extending its commitment as the ARCA RE/MAX Series title sponsor through 2011. We are pleased to continue our partnership with ARCA, which has solidly established its motorsports industry position and continues to be a model of consistency and credibility in the sport.”

The 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series opens with the 45th annual Daytona ARCA 200 at Daytona Int’l Speedway Saturday, February 9 live on SPEED at 4 p.m. Eastern. For information, visit www.arcaracing.com.
