Association (ASA) has announced that the Automotive Parts
Remanufacturers Association (APRA) has joined as an associate member.
APRA is a non-profit trade association serving more than 1,000
companies involved in the $35-billion-per-year motor vehicle parts
remanufacturing industry.
“I am particularly excited about APRA joining ASA,” said John
Scully, ASA’s executive vice president. “This relationship with a
well-recognized partner to the industry will increase our ability to
fully serve all segments of our membership base, while exposing members
of APRA to the many benefits and services available through ASA
membership.”
Bill Gager, APRA president, said: “Our members have much in common
with the members of ASA because in many cases ASA members are the
customers of our members. As the two associations begin to work
together to share information and resources, I’m sure we will see some
opportunities that will eventually assist our members in working closer
together. We all have the same desire, and that is to provide quality
products and service to the motoring public.”
ASA’s associate member category is designed for those companies or
groups that supply goods, services or equipment to the industry. ASA’s
full list of associate members can be found on the ASA Web site, www.ASAshop.org.
