Founder and president of Dart Corporation, Richard Maskin, was among the presenters at the March 27 seminar held at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI.
Maskin told the 100 attendees that one key component in achieving maximum engine power is to focus on cylinder wall finish to maximize ring sealing capabilities.
The latest advancements in fuel injection systems were outlined by EFI experts from FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technologies). Senior systems engineer, Lance Ward and lead technician David Page explained how monitoring engine sensors with a laptop computer and modifying the ECU to respond to various environmental conditions can increase performance in engines with EFI systems.
The engine technology seminar was the latest in a series of seminars hosted by Engine Pro to help engine specialists stay on top of advancements in their industry.
The Gilmore Car Museum opens its exhibit, “White Lightnin’ and Rollin’ Thunder The History of Stock Car Racing,” on May 1, 2010.
