King Engine Bearings will present “Race Engine Secrets: Bearing Clearance, Tolerances and Oils” during the upcoming technical seminars at two race industry trade shows. The seminars will be conducted by Ron Sledge, King’s new performance and technical manager.
The first seminar will take place at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show on Friday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in room S-230 E at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Sledge will present the same material at the International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS) on Friday, December 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Room 134 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.
Sledge’s seminar will focus on the secrets for choosing the right bearing clearances in a race engine to optimize performance and avoid catastrophic failure. In addition, he will discuss the vital importance of matching the best oil type, viscosity and pressure to the appropriate racing application. He will share his knowledge of engine bearings and race engine technology accumulated over his 30 plus years in the industry.
“I look forward to explaining to race engine builders how they can maximize durability in a performance engine’s bottom end,” said Sledge.
The presentations at PRI and IMIS will also include the opportunity for participants to win valuable prizes from King. For priority seating at either event, call (800) 772-3670 or email [email protected]. King will exhibit at the PRI Show at booth #3314 and at IMIS at booth #404.
