Waterman Racing Components, a manufacturer of racing fuel systems and accessories, has introduced a new combo fuel pump to its line of products. The new combo fuel pump mounts directly to Sweet Manufacturing power steering pumps.
Utilizing the Sweet Manufacturing power steering pump’s two-stud mounting position, the combo fuel pump is more compact than traditional mechanical fuel pumps. By eliminating the need for the swivel clamp and drive found on traditional power steering-mounted fuel pumps, the overall footprint of the pump is reduced. This change provides a more compact and firmer fitment.
With six different gear sizes available, the combo fuel pump works for all types of racing applications, including Dirt Modified, Dirt Late Model, and National Midget. Capable of supporting all applications demanding a fuel supply between 1.9 gpm to 3.9 gpm, the combo fuel pump gear sizes come in .150-, .200-, .250-, .300-, .350-, and .400-inch configurations to fit your application’s needs. The combo fuel pump is compatible with gasoline, methanol and ethanol fuels. Inlet and outlet fittings must be purchased separately.
Designed in-house at Waterman Racing Components, the new combo fuel pump is machined from forged aluminum and houses machined steel shafts along with precision-lapped gears.
