Aeromotive has introduced new Phantom Direct Drop-In Fuel Pump Modules for the 2008-20 Subaru WRX and STI models. These Direct Drop-In Fuel Pump Modules are available with a single 450 liter-per-hour pump or single or dual 340 liter-per-hour pumps and come preassembled for a quick and simple installation.
The new Direct Drop-In Fuel Pump Modules for Subaru WRX and STI models work with the factory fuel tank utilizing the OEM lock ring, gasket and fuel level sender to further simplify installation. Each pump incorporates Aeromotive’s patented Jet Siphon system with foam and bladder technology to control fuel slosh and maximize fuel pickup. The modules also feature a factory-sized outlet cap with a single -06 ORB outlet port to maintain OEM fitment and require the use of a return-style regulator and return line.
Pump modules are available with either single (Part# 18080) or dual (Part# 18082) 340 liter-per-hour pumps or as a single 450 liter-per-hour (Part# 18081) module. The single 340 modules can support naturally-aspirated gasoline applications up to 725 horsepower or 505 horsepower with E85, and forced-induction gasoline applications up to 595 horsepower or 415 horsepower with E85. The single 450 liter-per-hour pump modules can handle naturally-aspirated gasoline applications up to 975 horsepower (660 with E85) and forced-induction gasoline applications up to 700 horsepower (485 with E85). The dual 340 liter-per-hour pump modules provide enough fuel for naturally-aspirated gasoline applications up to 1,575 horsepower, naturally-aspirated E-85 ethanol applications up to 1,100 horsepower, forced-induction gasoline applications up to 1,295 horsepower and forced-induction E-85 ethanol applications up to 905 horsepower. All horsepower numbers are based on motors running electronic fuel injection.
