AutoTec Pistons
AutoTec Pistons are forged from low-expansion 4032 aluminum alloy to maintain tighter piston-to-wall clearances. That means better cylinder sealing, lower cylinder wear, and OEM noise levels, making them ideal for street and lightly boosted applications. Features include:
• CNC-diamond turned skirts
• CNC-machined ring grooves
• Top ring land gas distribution grooves to enhance performance and improve ring seal
• Broached double pin oilers
• Wristpins, wire locks, and ring set included
AutoTec Pistons are available for small and big block Chevy; GM LS and LT5; Ford 302-351W, 351C/M; Mopar 340-360 small block 440 big block; and Pontiac 400-455.
Race Pistons
RaceTec’s Race Pistons are made from high-strength 2618 forged or billet aluminum alloy with very low silicon content. That makes them better suited for engine combinations with high compression or a power adder. Features include:
• CNC-diamond tooled ring grooves and skirts
• CNC-machined ring grooves
• Valve pockets machined for oversized valves and high lift cams
• Top ring land gas distribution grooves to enhance performance and improve ring seal
• Broached double pin oilers
• Wristpins, wire locks, and ring set included
