Pulk joined Goodson in 1996 when he took on the role of senior manager for operations, and in 2008 he was promoted to company president.
During his tenure, Pulk oversaw the purchase and integration of Mach-B Grinding Wheel Shaping and Resizing as a division of Goodson. He also attended many industry trade shows and says he thoroughly enjoyed meeting Goodson customers face-to-face.
Pulk, an avid woodworker, says he plans to keep himself busy by building a canoe, doing some fishing and traveling with his wife, Karen.
Pulk’s replacement at Goodson is Juan Roque, who was recently named as its new president, effective January 1, 2012. Roque started his career with Goodson in 1992 as manager of the company’s customer service center in Texas. He was transferred to the main service center in Winona, MN in 1998 where he became senior manager for purchasing. In 2008, he was promoted to senior manager for operations, a position he currently still holds.
“Even though our industry is facing trying economic times,” says Roque, “we continue to follow a course of action that was set in motion many years ago. That is the commitment to provide excellent and personal customer service and to invest time and resources into providing top value products.”
