AERA says engine builders can gain
industry knowledge and network with other people with the traveling expense of
going to a national trade show. AERA has teamed up with a regional host to
offer opportunities in different regions of the country that is closer to a
number of shops.
Along with the outlined technical programs, AERA has invited leading
manufacturers of engine building/rebuilding tools, supplies, services, parts
and machinery to attend this conference. These suppliers will have table-top
displays that will be accessible during the conference.

During this seminar Mark will clearly identify the
characteristics, application and selection of not only MLS (Multi-Layer Steel)
head gaskets, but it will also help to identify the necessary installation
procedures and proper selection of other gaskets and sealing materials used on
late model engines and high performance applications.

"Race Engine Bearings – Selection and Technology"
In this seminar we will look at bearing film thickness and how
the clearance of the bearing influences it. Bill will discuss about crush,
parting line relief and eccentricity of an engine bearing. Other topics that
will be discussed are the coating, prepping, and the overlay material of the
engine bearing. To conclude the seminar Bill will discuss the installation of
an engine bearing and how to identify different factors that can cause bearing
distress.
