Burgess, who is co-owner of BMI Racing, will be in charge of managing and marketing the Racepak brand. Racepak, which focuses exclusively on securing and acquiring meaningful data with their data acquisition products, will expand its global marketing-focus with Burgess spearheading this effort.
"The expansion of our marketing focus strengthens our ability to continue setting the bar in meeting the needs of our core customers," noted Manny Grijalva, vice president of marketing and sales at MSD/Racepak. "Sarah’s comprehensive understanding of our market, our products and the racers we have serviced over the years will greatly benefit Racepak and our difference -making products."
Before joining Racepak, Burgess served as a marketing consultant at SEMA and oversaw several marketing-related tasks for SEMA. Prior to SEMA, she co-owned BuzzEngines and Billet Machine Industries. Her responsibility there involved trade and retail sales and marketing, product design and CNC machining. Sarah has been the driver of her drift car for three years and will continue to stay active in her role as driver and co-owner of BMI Racing.
Burgess graduated from Bundamba College, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with a degree in Business Administration. Sarah, her husband Adam and daughter Bridget will continue to live in Southern California.
Racepak designs, develops, tests and manufactures its entire line of dashes, sensors, loggers, software, gauges, modules, cables and ancillary equipment from its headquarters in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, and is part of the MSD Performance family.
