About a year ago, Kibblewhite Precision Machining, Inc. (KPMI®) introduced a line of Super Alloy Inconel® exhaust valves. That quickly expanded to include intake valves.
According to a New Product Tech Bulletin from KPMI, “As KPMI continues to expand its product line for the Milwaukee-Eight, we continue to add exhaust valves made out of the Super Alloy Inconel. This Super Alloy Inconel is designed to survive under extreme temperatures, however the material itself does not readily accept our Black Diamond surface treatment.”
“Therefore KPMI Inconel exhaust valves come in our White Diamond Hard Chrome Finish. Because more and more engine builders are utilizing our Inconel exhaust valves, we have decided to switch the entire line of valves for the KPMI Milwaukee-Eight to our White Diamond Hard Chrome stems for a uniform cylinder head appearance.”
