King to Host PRI Tech Seminar and Launches Can-Am Bearings

King Engine Bearings will be hosting an engine builder roundtable at the 2022 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Indianapolis.  “Master the Engine” seminar will be hosted by King’s Technical Manager, Ron Sledge, with six engine builders in a Q&A format, uncovering the latest engine building trends, best practices, and insider tips and tricks. The panel consists of Jay Meagher, Tyler Crockett, Dick Rahilly, Jeff Baldwin, Joe Jolly, and Jordan Hersey, who are specialists in applications such as NASCAR, marine, sport compact, Pro Mod, and Circle Track.

King Engine Bearings is also introducing the first Can-Am race bearings to the market. The new Can-Am racing bearings are part of King’s growing powersport product offering and are built to last. The bearings are manufactured from King’s high performance XPC material and pMaxKote polymer top layer, which enables better embedability and seizure resistance needed for extra durability in the ATV/UTV race environment. The bearings will be displayed at the King booth in a Brian Crower specially crafted Can-Am engine block. This Rotax Ace 900 engine is widely used in various applications in dirt, snow and marine vehicles.

To comment about this new product, King’s VP of Sales Limor Karpatkin said, “We’re excited to be growing our powersports line and adding the Can-Am bearings to our ATV and UTV lineup. We’ve seen increased demand in this segment in the past year and we’re glad we were able to quickly help fill the void.”

Also on display will be a Tombo Racing Suzuki Hayabusa drag bike, featuring King Powersports Race Bearings inside. Tommy Bolton is the go-to guy for making stock bikes faster than ever before, with more than 10 years of building fast, winning bikes.

King will continue presenting its new 2023-’24 Racing Application Guide, having debuted at the 2022 SEMA show. This updated version showcases King’s performance and racing products for diverse applications including diesel performance, powersports, Alpha GTR line, and more.

Visitors are welcomed to visit the King PRI booth #601 in the Green Hall to obtain more information about the bearing range or to ask any questions.
