Comec RP1400CNC Resurfacer

The Comec RP1400CNC is specially designed for the resurfacing of car and truck engine blocks and cylinder heads.

The Comec RP1400CNC is a CNC Controlled resurfacing machine and is specially designed for the resurfacing of car and truck engine blocks and cylinder heads. But is also used in industrial workshop for flat surfaces that require a high level of finishing and accuracy.

The Comec RP1400CNC resurfacer construction technology combines highly innovative solutions, such as the brushless motor for the automatic and precise positioning of the milling cutter plate – that is controlled by the CNC – with tested technologies, like the linear guides and recirculating-ball feed screws.

The machine is equipped with an inverter to smoothly control the axes and the rotation speed of the milling cutter. Also the feed speed can be monitored.

The entire machine is operated using an industrial touchscreen with a simple interface and intuitive software. In addition, the Comec RP1400CNC resurfacer can be supplied with a milling plate with tool holder of CBN-PCD with a diameter of 405 mm to display cast iron or aluminum surfaces. For heads with front chambers you can use a special tool for a perfect finish.

The supercharger utilizes the largest, most-efficient rotating group produced by Eaton, the TVS2650.

Harrop has released its innovative TVS2650 Supercharger Kit for the Ford 7.3L Godzilla engine. The supercharger utilizes the largest, most-efficient rotating group produced by Eaton, the TVS2650 and has an inverted design increasing the plenum volume to maximize performance.

The front drive / front inlet design allows for a shorter less restrictive intake path allowing for improved airflow and superior performance. Like all Harrop products, the TVS2650 for the Ford 7.3 Godzilla is expertly assembled by qualified supercharger technicians to ISO9001 quality standards, before being individually tested in-house on a dynamometer to ensure reliability and durability.

Carrillo Forged Pistons and Connecting Rods for Ford 7.3L Godzilla

These pistons are forged from 2618T aluminum alloy and machined on dedicated CNC machine cells to tight tolerances. 2618 aluminum has a lower silicon content than other alloys. That makes the pistons stronger and more ductile—perfect for high-load, high-stress applications like superchargers, turbochargers, or nitrous oxide.  Related Articles – Fluidampr Harmonic Damper from Summit Racing

Fluidampr Harmonic Damper from Summit Racing Equipment

The factory harmonic damper on your modern GM, Ford, or Mopar V8 are ‘tuned’ to absorb what’s called torsional vibration in the engine’s normal operating RPM range. Performance modifications, particularly ones that increase torque, produce added vibration in an RPM range that the elastomer damper wasn’t designed to handle. That vibration will accelerate component wear,
