K1 Technologies Forged Steel Crankshafts

Forged from premium 4340 alloy with large fillet radii, the crankshafts are heat-treated using the Nitriding process that improves strength and stability.

Forged steel cranks from K1 Technologies are some of the manufacturer’s more popular components given the many important features. These cranks are available in many stroker, and some stock stroke versions, for applications that include AMC, Chevy, Chrysler, and Ford V8 engines.

Forged from premium 4340 alloy with large fillet radii, the crankshafts are heat-treated using the Nitriding process that improves strength and stability as well as journal surface hardness. The cranks are stress-relieved to prevent bending or distortion, and magnetic particle inspected to assure there are no stress risers.

Superior bearing life is assured through straight oiling to the journals, which are held to a size tolerance of +/- .0001”.
