Darton Ford Modular Seat Tight Sleeve

This sleeve makes the block much stronger than the stock aluminum using ductile iron sleeves.

When Ford brought back the 5.0L block in Coyote form, everyone was excited, but the problem was the original 5.0L was cast iron and the Coyote is aluminum. Darton came up with a solution utilizing its “seal tight technology” with the Ford Modular Seat Tight Sleeve.

It’s able to make 1600hp with the stock block, while safely increasing displacement to Voodoo levels. This sleeve makes the block much stronger than the stock aluminum using ductile iron sleeves. In the case of the 5.2L and 5.8L Mod blocks that come with the plasma spray, you can easily bore the block for the Darton sleeve and use any aftermarket piston for high boost safely.

The kit is available for the Teksid 4.6L, 5.0L, Voodoo 5.2L, 5.4L and 5.8L aluminum blocks. Darton also offers installation in any of these blocks with a lifetime warranty against manufacturers defects.
