1,000-HP Capable 6.7L Powerstroke Engine

Nick Stoner, a customer of Kill Devil Diesel, recently got his fully built 6.7L Powerstroke engine – a build Nick wanted to be capable of 1,000 horsepower. However, Nick is no longer building the truck the engine was going into, so this badass diesel engine is for sale. Check it out.

We’ve all seen the world change due to the pandemic. However, the affect it’s had on our industry is still being felt in some ways. Namely, a longer wait for engine parts and components, which results in longer build times than otherwise would be expected.

6.7L Powerstroke

Recently, Nick Stoner, a customer of Kill Devil Diesel, experienced this first-hand. He turned to Jared Alderson and the team at Kill devil Diesel in Poplar Branch, NC for a 6.7L Powerstroke engine – a build Nick wanted to be capable of 1,000 horsepower to give his street truck better performance.

Unfortunately, from the time Nick ordered the build two years ago to now, he is no longer building the truck this 6.7L Powerstroke was going into. The good news is Nick is looking to sell this nearly $40K badass Powerstroke engine, so interested parties better hurry.

6.7L Powerstroke

If you’re familiar with Kill Devil Diesel, then you already know this diesel engine is packed full of awesome components and was built to a very high level. Nick’s 6.7L began with a new 2020 Ford block. Inside, the engine features a new Ford crankshaft, steel pistons, Wagler rods, Wagler main caps, a KDD main girdle, an RCD Stage 2 billet camshaft, Stage 3 120-lb. springs, CNC-ported and 0-ringed cylinder heads, Jesel’s Pro steel rockers, Jesel solid lifter inserts, chromoly pushrods, ARP head studs and main studs, a billet oil regulator, Warren billet oil pump gears, a Fluidamper damper, and intake flanges.

According to Nick, the Powerstroke has even more new ford parts and aftermarket components than what is listed above, and he has paperwork for everything, as well as balance sheets. The warranty will be handed over to the new owner as if they had ordered it.

If you’re looking for an awesome diesel engine from KDD and want to skip the year+ lead time, this is it. Please message Nick Stoner on Facebook, or contact Kill Devil Diesel for more info regarding the sale of the engine.
