Katech Performance, manufacturer of race-proven aftermarket crate engines and components for Gen3 LS1/LS6 and Gen4 LS2/LS7 engines, has promoted Jason Harding to director of aftermarket operations.
Harding will oversee the sales efforts of Katech’s aftermarket division. Previously, he served for three years in performance parts sales, where he focused on expanding Katech Performance’s distribution network and establishing new dealer accounts. Harding will continue to oversee Internet promotional initiatives in his new role.
"Jason has served our customers well during the past three years, and his strong technical background coupled with management experience will allow him to successfully lead our aftermarket sales and marketing strategies," said Warren Frieze, vice president/general manager, Katech Performance.
A Detroit-area native, Harding is an ASE-certified parts specialist and has achieved Michigan Department of State mechanic certifications for engine mechanical and engine tune-up and performance, among others. Before joining Katech Performance, Harding worked as a vehicle technician, customer service advisor and retail parts manager at Chevrolet, GMC and Pontiac dealerships in Michigan.
An experienced amateur drag racer, Harding has always possessed a passion for fast cars and enjoys road and drag racing, skiing and attending car shows.
