Harrop has released its innovative TVS2650 Supercharger Kit for the Ford 7.3L Godzilla engine. The supercharger utilizes the largest, most-efficient rotating group produced by Eaton, the TVS2650 and has an inverted design increasing the plenum volume to maximize performance.
The front drive / front inlet design allows for a shorter less restrictive intake path allowing for improved airflow and superior performance. Like all Harrop products, the TVS2650 for the Ford 7.3 Godzilla is expertly assembled by qualified supercharger technicians to ISO9001 quality standards, before being individually tested in-house on a dynamometer to ensure reliability and durability.
These pistons are forged from 2618T aluminum alloy and machined on dedicated CNC machine cells to tight tolerances. 2618 aluminum has a lower silicon content than other alloys. Most engines are internally balanced, meaning all weight adjustment is done on the crankshaft counterweights. However, some stock and modified engines require external balancing due to an increased stroke or larger pistons, and the crankshaft counterweights that would be required to offset the increased inertia simply don’t fit inside the crankcase.
