When we stopped by R&R Engine and Machine to say hello to owner Bryan Menke, the last thing we were expecting in a diesel-focused shop was to stumble upon this 1959 Austin Healey 3000 MK I 3.0L 183ci engine. Obviously, we just had to learn more about it.
When Lazaro Mesa of Mesa Balancing built this small block Ford engine a year ago it made 600 hp. In the shop for freshening up, this street engine will make around 630 hp once its done.
